Cross-Border Art Showing

Postby Spizzy » Sun Jan 13, 2013 10:24 pm

I'm trying to get some information for someone else who is looking to try to run an artshow for their mini Touhou event in Canada and I was trying to see how does one go about accepting pieces from someone outside the country? I've never done mailing for art shows (or any art shows for that matter, I guess), what do you provide the convention with to ship back your pieces if they don't sell, or is that something that's just taken into account with art show fees? How do you properly prepare a piece for shipment? Is it really any different than sending pieces to shows within the country, is there anything special to take into account?
