There's two CP threads so I just picked the more recent one.

Does anyone know if they'll let artists park behind the GRB all weekend like they did last year? I read through the Exhibitor's packet, but it only said anything about unloading/loading from the back docks for the first and last days. And it seems like they won't let us come in through the front again? I'm really hoping we can park back there again cause if not I'm not sure where I'll park every day.

That is not a parking area that Comicpalooza controls -it is city owned public parking.
Parking is $10 per day, and if you don't pay it you can be towed.

Oh, and I was on my phone and couldn't find the other thread (I thought there was one). I only found the 2013 thread.

Oh, I never meant not to pay haha. I'll pay the $10/day I just wanted to make sure I'd be allowed to park back there. Thank you though!

The other thread is here, if an admin wants to merge them.

So how was this con for everyone? Good? Better/worse than last year?

I'll merge them if I ever find the plug for my laptop.

I did muuuch better then last year, by a factor of two and a half! I did better here then A-kon last year by a significant amount, making this my highest grossing con so far. Having the autographs in Hall E and not separating the Alley and Dealers really helped with traffic. Plus the number and awesomeness of the guests definitely helped attendance!

I didn't vend at Comicpalooza this year, and only attended for one day, so although my post con report can be summed up in a short sentence - it still has a lot of meaning behind it:

Irony: Being told for two years you cannot do a LOT of things (like putting artists in a better location, among others) and finding that 99% of what you had been fighting for was implemented the year you left.

Side note: I'm never sitting down with a company again on an exit interview and providing a written list of things that need to be corrected.
It makes whoever replaces me look great (even when they split my job among 4 different people) and me look incompetent (even if they didn't fix everything on my list).

Are artist alley tables in the same space as the dealers, or just outside? I.e., is it secured or unsecured; if the former, what are the hours?
